Residents and visitors lined Broad Street on around the town’s Christmas tree on Sat- urday, December 23rd for the annual carol service, organised by the Rotary Club of Lyme Regis. Town crier Alan Vian acted as MC for the evening, and favourite carols were accom- panied by Lyme Regis Town Band. Among those attending was the Mayor of Lyme Regis, Councillor Michaela Ellis, and her husband Alan, and Deputy Mayor, Coun- cillor Steve Miller, and his wife Heather. Rotarians served mince pies and soup, supplied by the Royal Lion Hotel.
