This book is especially meant for those who are new to essential oils and are not sure what to do with them! It’s also helpful for those whom are interested but are relatively inexperienced, or for those with some experience but need more ideas or guidance! I present the material in several easy ways, with a slightly different approach than with other guides. The first chapter shares a short introductory overview of what essential oils and aromatherapy are, with some important points on using them. The second chapter of the book focuses on 13 essential oils which are among the most common and well-used today. I apply the book theme, “ USE THIS FOR THAT ” and show how you can use each one of these popular essential oils and for what. If you are new to essential oils, you may be surprised at the variety of uses possible for just one essential oil. This is thanks to the components and complex makeup of each essential oil, and is one of the reasons I say they have “super powers”. This particular section of the book keeps things simple! You will come away with an understanding of how you can “ USE THIS FOR THAT .” The third chapter of the book looks at things from the specific issues you may have (stress, insomnia, cuts or burns, colds or coughs, immune system, depression, indigestion, etc.) and shares various essential oils, recipes, research, techniques and suggestions which could be helpful. In other words, if you are experiencing issues with insomnia and want to find some applications that might help, you can refer to the third part of the book by specific issue. You will learn how to “USE THIS FOR THAT” by issue. I also include my personal favorites in this section. By the way, there will be far more essential oils mentioned in this section that just the thirteen I highlighted in the second section of the book! At the end, I make some recommendations for your Essential Oil Home Pharmacy, and link to a podcast I did on the subject. I also include a chart and information on Dosages & Dilutions. Everyone should pay attention to the Safety Tips near the beginning of the book, and review them before proceeding to try essential oils. I also send the list as a helpful download if you opt in at the beginning of the book. Essential oils are relatively safe and natural products – but remember, poison ivy is a “natural plant” but look what it can do! There are some basics you should understand before you use them. Especially do take caution with small children. To your happiness and wellness!
