As a busy girl looking for some great shopping coupled with museums and grassy-knolled parks, I am delighted to find it all here in the nation’s capital. The city bustles with activity, has many diverse and thriving neighborhoods, and offers an ease to get around not found in many big cities. When in need of tranquility, I look no further than my yoga practice, a run through Rock Creek, an afternoon enveloped by artwork at one of our many museums, or a sip of chai at a local sidewalk café. Look no further than this eclectic city to fill your itinerary with culture, excitement, tasty treats, lots of exercise and even some tranquility.
