1. PURPOSE.ThisManualestablishespolicies,procedures,andstandardsfor
theAeronauticalEngineering Community.

2. ACTION.AllCoastGuardunitcommanders,commanding
officers,officers-in-charge,deputy/assistantcommandants,andchiefsof
headquartersstaffelementsshallensurecompliancewiththe provisionsof
thisManual.Internetrelease isauthorized.

3. DIRECTIVES AFFECTED. TheAeronauticalEngineering
Maintenance ManagementManual,COMDTINST
M13020.F,andUSCGAviationFuelHandling
ProceduresManual,COMDTINST M13001.1,arecanceled.

4. MAJOR CHANGES. Majorchangestothe Manualinclude,butare
notlimitedto:
updatestoreflectCoastGuardModernization;updatestoreflectcurrentUSCG
NCorganization;additionof theTechnicalAirworthinessAssurance
Program;andtheadditionof theAviationFuelHandling Program.
