Enlightening your vision.
MK Illumination’s roots lie in Innsbruck, in Tyrol in the west of Austria, but in
recent years we have developed a worldwide presence with 26 independent
branches. The expansive network of our subsidiaries ensures that our
global customers receive excellent local support, together with backing
from our international group as a whole. Our worldwide experience has
enabled us to enhance our technical knowledge, which we utilise to create
tailor-made lighting concepts, even in XXL formats. In addition to delivering
lighting products of the highest quality, we can also offer complete project
management of our lighting solutions – from planning and design through
to assembly and storage. As an industry leader in lighting solutions we
take our responsibilities extremely seriously, and are always seeking to (cid:191) nd
environmentally and resource friendly solutions.
Since 1996 MK Illumination has been setting the industry benchmark for
the creation of festive and decorative lighting. Our product range offers
everything from simple LED light chains to shopping street illuminations
and special bespoke motifs – such as our 10-metre tall reindeer.

the quality of our items is routinely tested both in our own laboratories and by
external inspection authorities.
We guarantee that all of our products and materials have been

(Legal Compliance) and also comply with European safety standards.

Together with one of the world’s most renowned LED
manufacturers, MK‘s internal research and development
department has created an LED bulb that harmonises ecology and
economy. This bulb has become the benchmark for quality in the
industry and is used extensively throughout our product range.

MK‘s own production facility in Prešov (SK)
In 2009 we were awarded the “Opalkorn”, a regional award for employee
satisfaction which rewards our investment in the development of our employees,
and shows that our employees in Prešov are very happy at work and engaged in
their roles at MK Illumination.
Since 1999 we have our own state-of the-art, 6,000-m²-production
facility in Prešov, Slovakia where some 20,000 high quality motifs are
handcrafted by specially trained artisans every year: objects for our
Limited Line (3-D motifs) and the Collection Line (2-D motifs).
