Talks will be presented by three faculty and six at the students, as well as the keynote Annenberg Center. speaker. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Susan Lindquist. All thesis level students are expected to present posters, and all other CAMB students may volunteer to do so. A panel of Dr. Susan Lindquist is a well-known molecular biologist faculty judges will award $100 studying (among other things) the biology of protein folding, prizes to the top posters at the end heat-shock proteins, and prions. Dr. Lindquist is a Member of the day. and former Director (2001-2004) of the Whitehead Institute, a Professor of Biology at MIT, and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator. Previously, she was the Albert D. Lasker Professor of Medical Sciences from 1999-2001, and a Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology, University of Chicago, Photos in this issue of the CAMB since 1978. She received a PhD in Biology from Harvard newsletter include images from the Lea Elementary School Science Fair, 2007 CBP University in 1976, and was elected to the American Academy orientation softball game, 2008 of Arts and Sciences in 1997, the National Academy of Admissions, and the University of Sciences in 1997 and the Institute of Medicine in 2006.
