She has written extensively over many years on a wide range of subjects. she was a project lead on the UK Higher education Academy funded e-Res project looking at innovative e-learning with e-resources (Bournemouth University 2008). She is currently a member of the SCONUL working group on space, and since The Sir Michael Cobham Library at bournemouth University won the sConUL Library design award in 2007 she has published and presented at conferences on libraries, space and pedagogy. Penny Dale was until recently a subject Librarian at bournemouth University where she worked in a number of different roles with all academic schools over almost 20 years. she also contributed to projects integrating aspects of technology and learning in a digital environment into the curricula. she is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). Her professional interests include engaging students with information literacy, and mentoring accreditation and Chartership candidates for CILIP. She has written journal articles and book chapters and was co-editor of Subject Librarians: Engaging with the Learning and Teaching Environment published by ashgate in 2006. Matt Holland has 20 years experience in library and information work in higher education and more recently in the nHs. His interests are in the areas of media, broadcasting archives, subject librarianship in higher education and institutional repositories. Matt is currently working for the North West Ambulance Service NHS trust as an outreach Librarian. He was an advisor and board member on a number of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) funded digitisation projects in radio and television history including: the TV Times, the irn/LbC archive, independent Local radio Programme sharing archive, the south southern Local radio digitisation Project, the This Week Project and the BBC Radio 4 Analysis Project. He has published chapters in books and journal articles on a wide range of topics and was a co-editor of Subject Librarians: Engaging with the Learning and Teaching Environment published by ashgate.
