FCC RECORD CUMULATIVE INDEX VOLUME 7 FCC RECORD CUMULATIVE INDEX VOLUME 7 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE cumulative index for Volume 7 of the FCC Record covers the period January through December 1992. [t provides the page number to the FCC Record for document released to the public. index has six sections: (1) Table of Cases; (2) Table of FCC and Delegated Authority (DA) Numbers; (3) Table of Docket Numbers; (4) Table of Rulemaking Numbers; (5) Table of Localities; and (6) Table by Subject Matter. The Table of Cases is arranged alphabetically except where the first word of the case name is a number. Numbers will appear at the beginning, followed by all upper case letters and finally upper and lower case letters. For example, AZ Co. will appear at the beginning of the "A's before Able Co. The Table of FCC and Delegated Authority (DA) Numbers is arranged first by DA then FCC numbers in chronolegical order by year and then in numerical order. The Table of Docket Numbers’ is grouped alphabetically by the Bureau designator, then chronologically by year, and finally, in numerical order. The Table of Rulemaking Numbers is arranged numerically. The Table of Localities is arranged alphabetically by city and state. The Table by Subject Matter is organized alphabetically and is directly related to Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). The three levels of subject division correspond with the table of contents, rule subparts and rule sections to the CFR. This table is also ‘supplemented with adjudicatory and other statutory topics. These finding aids were designed to assist with research in the FCC Record.
