S.R.O. 6 .—In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby
makes the following rules to amend the Navy Design Officers (Group 'A' and Group 'B' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2002.
1. (1) Short title and commencement. - These Rules may be called the Navy Design Officers (Group 'A' and
Group 'B' posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in' the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Navy Design Officers (Group 'A' and Group 'B' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2002, against
the posts of Principal Design Officer (Engineering), Principal Design Officer (Electrical), Principal Design Officer
(Construction), Senior Design Officer Grade-I (Engineering), Senior Design Officer Grade-I (Electrical), Senior Design
Officer Grade-I (Construction), Senior Design Officer Grade-II (Engineering), Senior Design Officer Grade-II (Electrical) ,
Senior Design Officer Grade-II (Construction), Junior Design Officer (Engineering), Junior Design Officer (Electrical), Junior
Design Officer(Construction), for the existing entry under column (5) the entry "Selection" shall respectively be substituted.

Act, 1957 (62 of 1957), the Central Government hereby declares that for a period of five years from the date of publication
of this Notification in the Official Gazette, service or duty in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands shall be
'active service' within the meaning and for the purpose of the said Act.

S.R.O. 8 .—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (lA) of Section 12 of the National Cadet
Corps Act, 1948 (31 of 1948), Central Government hereby notifies appointment of Kumari Sushmita Dev, Member of
Parliament (Lok Sabha) as member of the Central Advisory Committee for the National Cadet Corps and for that purpose
amends notification of Government of India in Ministry of Defence No. SRO 76-E dated the 10th October, 1983, as amended
from time to time as follows, namely:-

Group 'C' (Security) posts Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Ministry of Defence, Defence Research and Development Organisation, Group 'C'
(Security) posts Recruitment Rules, 2012 against the post of Security;
