S.R.O. 11.—In exercise of the powers conferred
by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the
Navy Act 1957 (Act No. 62 of 1957), the Central
Government hereby declares that for a period of
five years from the date of issue of this notification
service or duty in the Union Territory of Andaman
& Nicobar Islands shall be active service within
the meaning and for the purpose of the Act.
