NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the ]5th January, 1998.
No. 48019/1/97-CA (Part) :— In pursuance of the
directions of the Government of India in the Ministry of Fi-
nance (Department of Company Affairs) as contained in their
Order dated the 3rd December, 1997 in the matter of South
Eastern Coalfields Limited the following notice of registration
is hereby published:—
"In the matter of the Companies Act, 1956
and
In the matter of M/s. South Eastern Coalfields Limited
having its registered office at Seepat Road, Bilaspur, Madhya
Pradesh.
Notice is hereby given that the Order of the
Department of Company Affairs, Ministry of Finance,
Government of India, New Delhi, dated the 3rd December,
1997 and the 19th December, 1997, confirming the reduction
of the paid up share capital of the South Eastern Coalfields
Limited, having its registered office at Seepat Road, Bilaspur
in the State of Madhya Pradesh, from Rupees 1121 crores
divided into 1,12,10,000 equity shares of Rupees 1000 each
fully paid up to Rupees 359.70 crores divided into 35,97,000
equity shares of Rupees 1000 each fully paid up and the minute
approved by the Department of Company Affairs, Ministry of
Finance, Government of India, New Delhi, with respect to the
paid up share capital of the above company so altered, the
several particulars required by the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of
1956) are registered by the Registrar of Companies, Madhya
Pradesh, Gwalior on the 2nd day of January, ] 998."
