NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, llic 24th January, 1994
S.O. 57(E).—The Central Government, in consultation with the Forward
Markets Commission, having considered the application for renewal of recog-
nition made under Section 5 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952
(74 of 1952), by the Bhatinda Om & Oil Exchange Ltd., Bhatinda, and being
satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public inte-
jest so do, hereby grants, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of
the said Act, recognition to the said Exchange for a further period of 6 months
from the 18th January, 1994 to the 17th July, 1994 (both days inclusive) in
respect of forward contracts in potatoes.
2. The recognition hereby granted is subject to the condition that the said
Exchange shall comply with sucih directions as may from time to time, be given
by the Forward Markets Commission.
