ORDER
New Delhi, the ?8th January, 1993
S.O. 79 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the Proviso to section
22 of the Standards cf Weights ara Measures Act, *976 (60 of 1976) read with
rule 18, rule 19 and rule 20 of the Standards of Weights and Measures (General)
Rules, 1987, the Central Government hereby permits M|s. Standard Stsel & Iron
Foundry, Jeoni Mandi, Agra 282004 (Uttar Pradesh) to' manufacture the follow-
ing non-standard weights or measures exclusively for export purposes :
(i) 28 lb to 1|4 oz.
(ii) 4 kg., 2.5 kg., 250 gm., 125 gni., 62.5 gm.,'31.25 gm.
This permission is subject to following terms and conditions; namely :
(1) Nd non-standard weight or measure made or manufactured exclusi-
vely for export, as specified in (i) and (ii) abvoe, shall be sold or
otherwise distributed within the territory of India.

12) The firm shall submit to the Central Government, at the end of the
calendcr year, a statement as to thr quantity of the non-standard
weigh is cr measures exported by it and the particluars of the person
to whom such export has been made.
(3) The firm shall maintain a monthly record of the number of .such non-
standard weights or measures, manufactured by it, numbei r1' v/eights
and measures already exported by it, and number of weights and
measures in stock or under production. The record so maintained
shall be open to inspection by an officer authorised by ihc Central
Government in this behalf.
(4) This permission shall rernain valid for a period of one year from the
date of issue.
