PAKDD 2020 was held online, during May 11–14, 2020. Along with the main conference, PAKDD workshops intend to provide an inter- nationalforumforresearcherstodiscussandshareresearchresults.Afterreviewingthe workshop proposals, we were able to accept five workshops that covered topics in literature-based discovery, data science for fake news, data representation for cluster- ing, biologically inspired techniques, and game intelligence and informatics. The diversity of topics in these workshops contributed to the main themes of the confer- ence.Theseworkshopswereabletoaccept17fullpapersthatwerecarefullyreviewed from 50 submissions. The five workshops were as follows: – First International Workshop on Literature-Based Discovery (LBD 2020) – Workshop on Data Science for Fake News (DSFN 2020) – Learning Data Representation for Clustering (LDRC 2020) – NinthWorkshoponBiologicallyInspiredTechniquesforDataMining(BDM2020) – First Pacific Asia Workshop on Game Intelligence & Informatics (GII 2020) May 2020 Wei Lu Kenny Q.
