Trees grow in many places. Can you see a tree from your window? 2 All trees grow from seeds. There are many kinds of seeds. 3 You can grow a tree! Put a seed in the ground. Pour water on it. The tree will grow better if it gets a lot of sun. 4 Care for your seed. Then wait. Your seed will grow… and grow… and become a tree! 5 Some trees look pretty different when the weather changes. Their leaves have turned different colors. 6 Green leaves can turn red, yellow, or orange. A cold night can help leaves start to change color in the fall. 7 Some trees lose their leaves in winter. If you saw those trees, you may have thought they did not look pretty. 8 Other trees always look the same. They look the same in summer and in winter. 9
