State of Missouri Reporting Period: Office of State Courts Administrator September 1 – September 30, 2010 Drug Courts Coordinating Commission Treatment Court Program Status As of 9/30/2010 there were 128 operational treatment courts: 85 adult, 16 juvenile, 13 family, 12 designated DWI, 1 veteran, and 1 reintegration. The commission provided funding to 51 treatment court jurisdictions that include 125 operational treatment courts. Participants As of 9/30/2010 2,955 individuals were participating in treatment courts as measured by a count of cases. The adult category includes reintegration, DWI and adult drug courts unless otherwise noted. The following is known about all adult treatment court admissions for this reporting period: The average age at admission was over 31 years. Admissions range in age from 17 to 62 years. Exits Termination includes termination, voluntary withdrawal, administrative discharge and dismissal docket types. As of 9/30/2010 there have been a total of 9,532 treatment court graduates. A total of 525 babies have ever been born to female participants during treatment. 479 of these have been born drug free. No drug-free babies were born to participants that exited treatment court during this reporting period. No drug-exposed babies were born to participants that exited treatment court during this reporting period. This is two consecutive months that no drug- exposed babies were born. Note: Current period plus prior period Y-T-D totals will not necessarily equal the Y-T-D totals for this period, due to cases being added after the reports for the prior period were run.
