BHEW Bulletin January 2021 Traffic Crashes in Missouri There were 157,038 total traffic crashes in Missouri in 2019. Within counties, these range from 27 to 32,012. This report summarizes the distribution of traffic crashes in Missouri. Map 1 shows that out of all the traffic crashes in Missouri, how many are reported in each county. It can be seen that the highest number of traffic crashes were reported in St Louis City, St Louis, St Charles, Franklin, Jefferson, St Francois, Cape Girardeau, Butler, Taney, Christian, Greene, Jasper, Newton, Cass, Jackson, Clay, Platte, Buchanan, Pettis, Boone, Cole, Callaway, and Phelps.
