In 1966 the school moved from its location at 7001 Marshall Ave. to 6915 Grand Ave. Since the day the building opened, thousands of students have walked down the halls and sat in the classrooms. Each year we’ve risen above our expectations hoping to make the next year even better. The theme “A Step Above The Crowd” is a phrase stating that the Govs are rising above and stepping up in every area. Our Academics have been soaring for years now. Always proving that success can be achieved with a little hard work and effort. Sports teams have had a few bad mem¬ ories in the past, but we have always proven that the Governors aren’t quitters. The students and faculty have also soared to new heights, causing Morton to be considered a school to be proud of.
