From 1994-2007 she served as Head ofVoice Seuies,and she isa recipient fof Ontario’ prestigious OCUFA Avard for "teaching excellence and ovtsanding contributions ro university teaching”. MacDonald headsup a graduate program in ‘voice pedagogy in which she combines the rich works ‘of science, education snd arto prepare a new generation fof young singers and voice teachers.
