“The Will Power” is about a girl “Desire” who wants to pursue her carrier based
on her passion. Her parents never supported her, neither did her siblings,
except for Thomas who did partially, and sometimes encourages her.
Desire tried all she could to convince mostly especially her Dad, he never
supported her. Instead her Dad decided to take her to his elder brother who is
a carpenter since Desire wants to be a Carpenter. Her Dad laments… How
would a woman do carpentry work? I believe after she has carried woods and
worked harder, she might change her mind.
Desire later joined her Uncle in his carpentry workshop. Her Uncle also tried to
make her change her mind and move to college to study a course, but she
refused.
Desire did tremendously well in her Uncle’s workshop and even the male
apprentices were amazed of her speed of learning, creativity and smartness.
Desire has always said she wants to be the Best Female Carpenter in the
Universe and Believes she can.
Desire creativity brought more value and revenue to Uncle John’s business.
She won prizes which was broadcasted on air, and even her parent were
surprised to see her on TV.
Desire later went to college to study Business Administration as advised by her
uncle John with the mind-set that when she is done studying Business Admin in
School, she would have gotten a Business Idea and Knowledge on how to
manage the carpentry workshop, and even expand it.
Not too long, Desire Uncle died, and in His Will which was read by his Lawyer,
stated that Mr John handed over the Carpentry Business to his niece, Desire.
Everyone was amazed and some were happy
