Show Calendar...............13 Money $tore..................14 PRESIDENT’S LETTER I have received only one response to my request for feedback/ideas on the VNA, how ever it was one of quality from a relatively new member in Manassas, Virginia. His main reason for joining was to increase his know ledge of the hobby, and he offered several excellent suggestions for the improvement of the organization and the annual convent ion, all of which I will discuss at the next board meeting. One suggestion, for a "Swap Shop" sect ion in THE VIRGINIA NUMISMATIST, can be imp lemented right away,by using the MONEY $TORE. It's not limited to buy and sell ads; if you have material to swap, just send in your ad, and it will be published. MONEY $TORE ads are, of course, free. I'm still soliciting your comments and suggestions for ways to im prove VNA, please send than to me care of the editor. I hope to read many innovative ideas from you during the caning months. As of early November when this was written, there had been no additional information on the Clay Perdue murder case. Any further dev elopments will be reported to our members. Sad to say, VNA has lost yet another member. Mr. James Allen of Newport News died last September. An army retiree, he was a collector military related material. Hie Virginia Numismatic Association extends deepest sympathy to his family. I hope that you all enjoyed a very merry Christmas, and that your New Year will be both happy and prosperous.
