In order to create a space that would meet our visitors' expectations and the Museum's objectives, an advisory group was formed to work throughout the planning stages with Museum staff. The committee also acted as a pilot group, trying out activities before installation. A similar group of advisors offered ideas for the book Facing Africa, which features our permanent collection of African art and complements the Soul of Africa exhibition.
