Digitized by the Internet Archive in 2018 with funding from The Study https://archive.org/details/thestudy2017stud 'oe Study 2016 - 2017 3233 The Boulevard Westmount, Quebec HEAD OF SCHOOL Nancy Lewis Sweer _ The Class of 2017 is uniquely positioned as the first graduating class in a fully private, non- subsidized school, a truly historic time for The Study. What has this meant to you, as a graduating class? Our new-found independence has allowed us to enhance your global experience within a diverse environment. You are known as a group with great respect for each other. As a commonality, you are in the same year, however, you show strengths in a variety of fields. Some of you have a passion for innovation, for athletics, or of academics and the arts, and some of you have blossomed as leaders, philanthropists and humanitarians. As the Class of 2017, you have taken advantage of the many opportunities afforded to you both in and around the school day. This has become clear from your participation in the Arts, Sciences, Model UN, Leadership Conferences, and Athletic teams. Many of you participated in the community service trip to our sister school in Diria, Nicaragua, and many continue to volunteer and coach outside of school. You are also known, as a group, for your good sense of humour. You have developed an appreciation for each other and do not take yourselves too seriously to lose connection or friendship. It is my fondest wish that you use these wonderful attributes as you pave your way | through your next educational experience. I hope that you will visit us in the near future, as part of our Study family, as welcome j Alumnae. Warmly, Mrs. Nancy Sweer, Head of School DEPUTY HEAD OF SCHOOL Antonia Zannis The 2016-2017 school year has flown by - filled with so many exciting opportunities for all our students - from kindergarten students writing their first books, to students in grade 2 participating in their first robotics tournament to wonderful classroom activities that included the Grade 10 St. Henri Bonheur d’occasion project.
