INTRODUCTION
The sports of “running,” “jumping,” and “throwing” have
developed significantly since the Ancient Greeks first
established their Games at Olympia. Back then there was
only one event, the Stadion race—now there are literally
hundreds of sports to choose from. So it’s not surprising
that you might not know all the rules to all the sports you
come across.
