One day Iris' wolf is caught by a bear trap and just before she is killed, a mysterious giant wolf saves her. Atlas, catching a glimpse of that wolf, is forever grateful to whomever it was and sets out to find him. Just as he gives up hope, his Beta, Mavis, finds a man unconscious in a cave with a wounded leg. Sensing he was a unique wolf and not sure if he was a threat, he was captured and brought to the pack house. Imprisoned while being treated.
