The SENIOR ~ SEMINAR - Forty-First Session NATIONAI FOREIGN AFFAIRS TRAINING CENTER’ FOREIGN SERVICE INSTITUTE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATI STATEMENT OF PURPOSE The Senior Seminar is the most advanced protes- sional development program available to senior for- eign policy and national security officials of the United States Government. The nine-month program began in 1958 and is held at the Department of State's Na- tional Foreign Affairs Training Center.
