L QUALITY MANUAL
The Management Committee of The Redcliffe Aero Club has defined and documented its
Quality Policy in a Quality Manual. This policy includes the Club’s commitment for meeting
client and student requirements and for continual improvement.

! The Quality Policy of The Redcliffe Aero Club is to provide high and consistent quality
in the provision of charter, aerial work and flight training operations in aeroplanes. The
Committee is always mindful of the fact that the operations the Club conducts are in an
environment where safety is paramount.

! The Club’s commitment is to the safety and comfort of our clients and student pilots.

! All operations are conducted in conformance to The Redcliffe Aero Club Operations
Manual, Quality Manual (QM), legal and Regulatory requirements and specific
customer and student requirements.

! Through staff input and management leadership, the Committee will continue to
improve our people and processes to anticipate, meet, and exceed the needs of our
clients and students.

The Quality Policy and objectives are relevant to the Club’s goals and the expectations
and needs of its clients and student pilots. These concepts have been communicated to
all employees within the scope of the QM. Policy concepts have been integrated into The
Redcliffe Aero Club’s culture.

The Management Committee of The Redcliffe Aero Club ensures that its Quality Policy
is understood by all Club staff. This is accomplished through, training, communication and
mentoring. The Quality Policy is implemented by means of documentation and training
about the QM to meet the requirements of the ISO9001:2008 Standard. The Quality Policy
is maintained through QM audits and corrective and preventive action and reviewed for
continuing suitability through periodic Committee Reviews.

DISTRIBUTION

A copy of this Operations Manual shall be issued to all operating crew members employed
by the Club

All persons who are issued with a copy of this Club Operations Manual will be held solely
responsible for the security and safe keeping of that copy and must ensure that:

(a) It is not given into the hands of any unauthorised person; and

(b) No part of the material contained therein is used for other than the Club's own
operational purposes.
After each Manual is issued the Chief Pilot shall record, in the table below in Copy No 2,
the Copy number, the composition of the particular Manual and the name of the Manual
holder to whom the particular Manual is issued.

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENT

(1) The instructions, procedures and information contained in this manual have been
devised to ensure safety and standardisation in the conduct of Club operations.
They are to be observed by all operating personnel who are reminded of their
obligation to comply with the Civil Aviation Act, CARs, CAOs and such other
directives, aeronautical information and notices that the CASA may publish from
time to time.

(2) Where, in the light of operating experience, errors are found in the manual or
deficiencies in the manner in which THE REDCLIFFE AERO CLUB operations are
conducted, recommendations for amendment shall be submitted to the Chief Pilot.

Instruction:

(1) All Club personnel associated with piloting and flight line management must sign
this sheet in the library copy as evidence of having read, understood and agreed
to apply the procedures and data contained in this Operations Manual.

(2) Each person required to sign, including trainee pilots, must do so on joining the
Club and at intervals not exceeding twelve months and when an amendment has
been made.
