Description:I sat down at a close friend's house and read this whole book. Now I am ordering a copy for myself to reread the whole thing. It is very entertaining and grapples with some very big issues. The only possible gripe I could see someone having would be the authors use of atheistic Buddhism (I do not mind it though). However, this does not detract from the authors wit and sharpness.I am sorry if you think this is a simplistic review, but this is a really good book and I do not want to ruin it for you.If you want to explore the idea of being an "enchanted naturalist" further, I would recommed: Carl Sagan's Varieties of Scientific Experiences, Richard Dawkin's The Ancestor's Tale, and Lawrence Krauss' Atom. All these books explore the wonder and humility studying nature brings.
