As he walked down the aisle holding his diploma, he never dreamed he would be back at his old school teaching and later becoming a building master. Regardless of those thoughts, he has repeatedly said how much he loved his time at Somerville High. Mr. Leland has been with us every step of the way throughout our four years together. He has never let us down and he has always made sure that we knew that his door was open. Over the years Mr. Leland has made many comments about seeing us grow from young,-scared freshmen into incredible young adults. We would like to dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Leland to honor and remember what he has done for us. He has decided to retire with our class, claiming he could never be with a more wonderful group of students. The dedication of this yearbook to Mr. Leland is a form of thanks from the class of 2005 for all the help and care he has given us over the years. ~Shannon LeBlanc eres AND Cover Art VAToKie) @ Nascimento faculty faculty a—— Page 1 Design halloween Mike Maloney Photography Errico Studios & Skye Grams The Making of a Yearbook ar Minionettes ef A Message from the Editors CASAL aS PAP TAY Vite: TY ’ ey a 4 Dear Class of 2005, When we were chosen to be editors of your yearbook we didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into, but after all of the hard work and late meetings, it was entirely worth while. We have tried to express in this yearbook the best memories that we have had as the Class of 2005. We feel that the effort put in by the staff, editors, and advisors, will be evident in the pages to come. The production of this yearbook could not have been possible without the help of many individuals. Our advisors, Mrs. Caldeira and Mr. Maloney, took on the difficult task of aiding us in the creation of this book. As first year advisors they did an exceptional job. We would also like to thank Mr. Galligani, Mr. Leland, Arthur Ingalls and everyone from Errico’s Studio, Tom Keeley our Jostens’ advisor, the associates at PrintWix for creating clothing we used for fundraising, and of course, the Class of 2005. Sincerely, Jessica Almeida, Stephanie Dres, & Shannon LeBlanc
