The Photograph Album of the Wallington, Dullforce & Baldry Families The Photograph Album of the Wallington, Dullforce & Baldry Families © Kenneth Baldry & Winifred Dullforce 1996-2009 The authors assert their right to be recognised in accordance with the Copyright, Designs & Patents Act 1988 The purpose of this copyright claim is to prevent distribution of bad photocopies of this book. More copies can be obtained from Ken at:- 17 Gerrard Road Islington London N1 8AY Voice:- 020 7359 6294 E-mail:- [email protected] The copyright of individual photographs (where still valid) remains with the photographers or their assignees. This album has been assembled from photographs held by Win Dullforce and Ken Baldry by Ken with the objective of giving any member of the family who is interested access to some of their antecedents and a little information about other members of the family. It is unashamedly Kennocentric but that’s Ken for you. After all, he has done most of the work. Additional photographs and information have been supplied by Joan Wallington Bartlett, Gwen Wallington Fancutt, Geof Baldry and Kathleen Smith, with corrections from John Andrews and Margaret (Rita) Dullforce Dowding. (I have adopted the American naming convention for the women to clarify who they were. That is, first name + maiden name + married name). For the technically minded, the photos have been scanned by a Microtek Scanmaker II into an Apple Macintosh IIci computer, assembled with Adobe Pagemaker 6 in an Apple Power Mac 7100 computer and printed on a Hewlett Packard 4M+ Laser Printer. -oOo- George & Unity Ward We know little about George Ward except that he lived in Amersham and married Unity Sarah Groom. Their children were: William, Harry, George II, Fred, Emma, Alice, Elizabeth, Kate & Rose. Apart from Alice (his Great-grandmother), Ken met Rose, who must have lived into the fifties. Unity and child uni- dentified George Ward II Alice Another sister Alice Alice (r) & sister Another sister, Rose married twice, to Sibley & Bruton, a dustman (acording to Joan Bartlett) or gardener (according to Winifred Dullforce). Rosa always referred to him as ‘Bruton’. Fred Ward, the Fireman KateWard
