A dead body, gruesome murder, and a woman with a multiple personality disorder.
A homicide case like no other.
Alex is moving on with his life, taking one case after another without refusing to take any break. He has submerged himself in his work, so he doesn’t have to deal with his emotions and Laurel’s betrayal. Everything seemed to be working for him until he was ordered onto a new case–one that was taken on by a local precinct.
A woman appears, claiming that she has killed someone. The police don’t believe her until they find a body in the exact area she mentioned. And that’s when the FBI is brought in and the case is assigned to Alex Payne, the best agent they have.
There is a lot more to this case than meets the eye, and with so many people possibly out to kill him, including the family of the dead man.
