Look around you. Chances are,
you don’t see anyone exactly like
yourself. We all have different
clothes, different hair, different
interests,differentfriends,different
personalities. Butwhatifyoucould
trade places with someone that’s
nothing likeyourself? Maybeyou’d
find out, you’re not as different as
you think.
Despite our differences, we’re all
after the same things: happiness,
success,fun.Thoughwemaytake
different routes to get there, the
destination is always the same.
What if we made the journey in
someone else’s shoes? Trading
placescould giveyou awhole new
perspective. Maybe we could all
use some perspective.

Open your mind. Be adventurous.
Dare to make a change. Life is full
of transitions and place changes,
even within ourselves. Do you
remember your first time trading
places? Whether was from two-
it
wheelers to cars, Disney Channel
to MTV, ormiddleschool to NAHS,
we all change. Just try to hang on
and enjoy the ride.
As the years roll on, we reach new
levels each day. Freshmen antici-
patetheclimbuptheladder. Soph-
omores get readyforfreedom and
thejoyofbeingan upperclassman.
Juniors look forward to their well-
earned respect. Seniors choose
a path that will determine the rest
oftheir lives. Intense? Maybe. But
who said trading places would be
easy?
