The students who attend find many aspects of ICC to be beneficial. ICC's location is ideal for many area students. Being close to home is convenient for many area students. Some students enjoy driving to school every day while others take advantage of living in the dorm. Also, many students enjoy recreational activities on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Wa- terway which borders the Fulton Campus. %*v Another reason students choose ICC is because the college is affordable. The college's low-cost combined with financial aid enables many students to attend. Each always thinks his/her alma mater is the best, but at ICC, we have proof. We have north division and state contending teams, new and up-to-date programs, and the best post-secondary automotive technician training program in the state. HOSA students who participated in the national leadership conference also won many awards. Not only are ICC's students award-winning, but also the faculty and adminis- j^ tration are highly respected and recognized. Renea Ran- dle participated in the NASA Space Fellowship program at MSU, and Jerry Senter was awarded the Re- gional Outstanding Chief Business Officer during 1995-96. Space prohibits listing all the awards and honors by students, faculty, staff and the college, but in a few words, ICC is Simply the Best! It is truly amazing to think about. Imagine if you could meet every single person on both campuses. Wouldn't that be fun and interesting? Meeting every single person might not be possible, but ICC has many clubs and organizations that allow stu- dents to meet at least some of the other students. From drama to the Baptist Student Union, ICC has something for everyone. Individuality at ICC is evi- dent not only in the students, but also in the college.
