You have arrived at an important and well- deserved milestone in your life. I am certain that during your first year at Livingstone graduation seemed to be a destination far into the future. Yet, here you are at the end ofa longjourney that began years ago with each step, each day, and one year in time. You have made it with time to spare. I am so proud ofyour accomplishment. Earning a college degree is not easy and you made the sacrifices that were required ofyou to achieve your goals. Because ofyour sacrifice and acquired knowledge you are better equipped to handle challenges that may await you on the next leg ofyour lifejourney. May I encourage you to face uncertainties with the samejoyful anticipation that you brought with you to Livingstone College. I also pray that you keep your life focused and maintained by your determination and faith in Father God. As you depart, please know that the true measure ofa successful person is one who is willing to render service and to extend to others in your profession and in life the gifts that you have been blessed to receive and share.
