since I saw tte first Huttle Telescope
images. My overwtelming impression at
tkat time was one of awe at tte majesty of
tte universe and a sense tkat I was witness-
ing tte kand of God at work1? on a sea le tkat
was mind-toggling. To me (and I tkink
many otters) ttese images are a catalyst
leading us to ponder tte "idea” o f God. F or
some reason wten I look at tkis material
I tave a great sense of relief, an almost
surreal sense tkat it s all going to ke OK, we

are not al one, an ere is a God.

American Nebula. The two tails of the comet
are formed by material ejected from the nucleus.
Gas ions are blue, and dust particles are white.
