Surnatra. The genus Dipturodes Warren was strictly define dby Holloway ( 1994) by close comparison with allie dgenera in the eleyenth part of "`The moths of Borneo" series, and ten species were recorded from Borneo, with descriptio nofs four new species. Seven of them were also recorded from Sumatra ,partl ybased on my material. Two species were lef tunde- scribed because they were represented by single males having very similar genitall ato those of the congeners. One of them (Hollow a1y9,94, fig .561) fbund also from Sumatra wM here be described as a new species, but another species (Hellow a1y99,4, fig .562) still remains unidentified. For detaile ddefinitio nof Dipluivdes ,see the paper by Holloway (1994 )and my previous paper on the PhilippineDiptutvd (eSsat o1,999). In this paper, fifte esnpecies of Diplurodes will be recorded from Sumatra ,includin gsix new species and two species newly added to Sumatran fauna. Detailed notes on the localit ioefs collecting sites in Sumatra were given by Diehl (1982, 1 997), Kobes (1985 ,1992) and Schintlmeist (er 1994).
