She is also Editor of the French Review of Psychosomatics. She has worked for seventeen years in the Association de Santk Mentale du 13emeA rrondissement with psychotic and border- line patients. Anthony W. Bateman is a Consultant Psychotherapist at St. Ann's Hospital, London, and a Member of the British Psycho-Analyti- cal Society. He is co-author of introduction to Psychoanalysis: Con- temporay The0y and Practice. Peter Hartocollis was Director of the Menninger Memorial Hos- pital, a Training and Supervising Analyst at the Topeka Insti- tute for Psychoanalysis, and Chairman of Psychiatry at the University of Patras Medical School (in Greece), where he is now Professor Emeritus. Hinshelwood is Professor of Psychoanalysis at the Univer- sity of Essex and a Full Member and Training and Supervising Analyst of the British Psycho-Analytical Society. He is author or editor of many books, including Clinical Klein, A Dictionary of Kleinian Thought, and Z'krapy or Coercion: Does Psychoanalysis Differ from Brainwashing? Ilany Kogan is Training Analyst at the Israel Psychoanalytic Soci- ety. As a Lecturer and Supervisor at the Tel-Aviv University Medical School, she worked extensively with Holocaust sur- vivors' offspring. Rafael E. Lopez-Corvo is Training Analyst of the Venezuelan Psy- choanalytic Society and author of the books Self-Envy: Therapy and the Divided Internal World, and God Is a Woman. Anna Potamianou has a Ph.D. in psychology. She is Training Analyst of the Paris Psychoanalytic Society and of the Hellenic Provisional Psychoanalytic Society and has recently been elected as President of the Hellenic Provisional Psychoanalytic Society. She has published six books and three monographs and has participated in eleven collective publications. She is also a Member of the Psychosomatic Institute of Paris. Andreas Rabavilas is Professor of Psychiatry at the Athens Uni- versity Medical School Department of Psychiatry. He has pub- lished more than 150 scientific papers and is co-editor of the books The Treatment of Phobic and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders; Schizophrenia: Recent Biosocial Developments; Psychiatry: A Word Perspective; and Current Trends in European Psychotherapy. Grigoris Vuslamatzis is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and teaches psychoanalytic theory and therapy at the Department of Psychiatry, Athens University Medical School and at the Hel- EDITORS AND CONTRIBUTORS ix lenic society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. He has recently been elected as President of the Hellenic Society of Psychoana- lytic Psychotherapy. He has published nearly a hundred scien- tific articles and is co-editor of the books Countertransference: Theory, Technique, Teaching and Current Trends in Eurupeun Psy- chothwupy and author of The Object of Narcissus (in Greek).
