We've filled up the gas tank and bought some snacks for the long ride ahead. We've followed the directions carefully and asked for help when we got lost. We've seen new places and experienced things we never thought possible. We learned so much, including new things about ourselves and our friends. The sunis setting soon and our trip is almost over. We started this trip as young, eager freshmen who thought for sure we'd get lost trying to get to the right house, never mind “Freshman year was the right floor or room. In @ time of adjusting.” ur homerooms, we tried -Nicholas Sullivan —| - to decipher what exactly 4-312 meant. 7 Surprisingly we all made it to class ina reasonable amount of time, and : : — - made it through the day with only a few bumps and bruises. That day we began what everyone remembers as the “good old days." We laid the grounds for new friendships and new adventures, and we were ready to go. The fact that we weren't the new guys got to our heads, and being the first class that had to pass the MCAS inorder to graduate didn't help. As junior year began, we were excited for what the year ahead held. We had growna lot in two years and we actually began to see the truth behind “the choices you make today, shape your world tomorrow." We had high expectations for junior year and it proved to be as great as we had hoped. The whole year was filled with anticipation for our first class gathering, the Junior Banquet, and it was better than expected - we made great memories that we won't soon forget. After this we were ready to be seniors and rule the school. Nothing could compare to the feeling of participating in the celebrated tradition of the Passing of the Whale. Theme 5 As we entered the building for the first time senior year, we had a much different attitude and view on things than we did when we entered four years earlier. From yearbook surveys to college applications to prom dresses and tuxedos, senior year was filled with responsibility and excitement. No one was pressuring us to do anything, we had to be adults. We'll always remember senior year, the time we reached the point in our lives to put away the toys and learn to take life seriously. After this, some will go on to college, others into the military, and still others will jump directly into the work force. Some will move away, while others will settle here. No matter what we do, where we go or who we meet along the way, we'll always have a connection - we shared this trip. of a lifetime together! 5S e.
