Don’t give up hope. God can heal what the doctors cannot. It’s time to dig your heels in and be a scrapper for the Word. Make the quality choice to purge the poison of negative emotions, doubt- filled words, and unhealthy foods from your life. This may be the most difficult time you have ever faced, but you can win this fight. Engraft the words of this book into your spirit and place your heel on the devil’s neck! Remember: “All things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23). Know that my prayers are with you, and I’m looking forward to hearing the testimony of your healing. VII I N T R O D U C T I O N Shalom. Shalom is one of the most beautiful words in existence. It literally 1 means “nothing missing, nothing broken.” It also means to be com- 2 pletely whole in every way. Shalom is perfect peace. Our Lord Jesus is the Prince of Shalom. (Isa. 9:6.) His greatest desire for you is that you live in health, prosperity, joy, and absolute fulfillment in every area of your life. If even a small part of your life is lacking any part of these, He feels it. You must realize that your Lord loves you with a perfect love. He cherishes every breath you take. He counts the very hairs on your head and holds as precious every one. Examine this thought for a moment. The Word says that our “hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who [has been] given to us” (Rom. 5:5). Now add to your meditation of this thought that faith is the sub- stance of things hoped for and that faith must work by love. (Heb. 11:1; Gal. 5:6.) How does faith come? By hearing the Word continu- ally until we realize that the promise is for us. (Rom. 10:17.) How can we be disappointed? When we don’t know the love that God has for us and how willing He is to fulfill His Word in our lives. You see, no matter how much I tell you that God loves you and wants you well, it does you no good if you don’t believe it and act upon it by using your faith. The Word implicitly says that the Holy Spirit who is within you reveals to you just how much the Father loves you. (1 Cor. 2:10-12; Rom. 5:5; Gal. 4:6.) This is a promise from God. Therefore, I am sure IX beyond any shadow of doubt that as you read these pages the light of His love will dawn on you, the Holy Spirit will open the eyes of your understanding, and you will know what Jesus did for you. I personally believe that if you recognize love in its fullest measure, no sin, sickness, disease, or malady will ever hold you in bondage again. You will stand up and joyfully proclaim, “My Father loves me! I am His precious child and He holds me close to His heart. I do not belong to Satan. I am not a child of bondage. I am a child of God and He has set me free!” Ask yourself this question and give it an honest answer: What was it that moved Jesus with compassion when He walked this earth? You don’t have to know a whole lot about the Bible to know that Jesus healed hurting people wherever He went. Matthew 14:14 says, “When Jesus went out He saw [the] great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.” He lived to see the joy in people’s eyes when their leprosy was healed, when their blind eyes were opened, when fever left them, and when cripples walked. He brought hope to those who had no hope left. When doctors could do no more for the sick, Jesus would come, lay His hands on them, and set them free. Did you know that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever? (Heb. 13:8.) That same love that reached out to those people is now reaching out to you. He rejoices when you take Him at His Word and receive your healing by faith. ~ N O G R E AT E R LOV E ~ According to the Word, God is all three persons of the Trinity— God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7; X
