Looking back to the days of yellow school buses, recess and snack time I remember thinking that this moment would never arrive. Now, not only has it arrived, but it has brought with it excitement and joy for the future as well as sorrow for the years gone by. This moment is the cumilation of all of our experiences, triumphs, decisions, hopes, dreams and aspirations. There will never be another moment like this or a class like ours again. We are unique. Even though not all of us share the same views and opinions we all share a common bond, our memories. It is together that we have learned some of our most important life lessons, both in and out of the classroom. Hugs goodbye and smiles hello, after-school jobs, field trips, car chases, food fights, tan lines, tears and frowns, gossip and laughter, happy memories and hilarious moments, these are the ties that bind us. No matter what paths we choose to follow or roads we decide to take we will never forget all that we have learned together because no matter where we go it will always be a part of us. I Nancy Emord Mrs. There is one individual that will never leave the minds of the Class of 1998. No matter what the future may bring, memories of Mrs. Emord will be with us. She has always been there with her support, whether it be as a Physical Education teacher, an advisor, a coach, or just a friend. Her good and truthful advice has always been a breath of fresh air. The amount of respect that was given by Mrs. Emord to each individual ofour class was incredible. This is one of the main reasons we have a high level of respect for her. She always wanted to do anything she could to help out a student. Determination is one of her best traits. She never gave up on the Class of 1998. Mrs. Emord, from the bottom of all our hearts, we thank you for always being there for us. We will never forget you. -Michelle Holmes Literary Editor
