Your years at Muhlenberg College have been a time of growth and memory-making. You have learned and grown, worked hard and had lots of fun times, and perhaps a few challenging times as well. You have almost certainly formed friendships that will endure, likely for life. Years from now, you will find you treasure the pages on which this book has recorded some of your and your friends’ greatest memories. Of course, this book is immensely special for me, also. Just as it records your last year as an undergraduate student, its pages contain a record of my own first year at Muhlenberg as President. I feel honored that we are forever bound in this way. I hope you look back with great fondness, appreciation, and even love for your days at Muhlenberg. As you know well, Muhlenberg is a special community; one in which we care deeply for our students and do everything we can to support student success. I wish you all the best in the years ahead. While you will have graduated from Muhlenberg College, you will remain forever a member of the Muhlenberg family. Our global community - our network - is as mutually supportive as is our campus community. Just as we have all learned how to hold doors open for others on the Muhlenberg campus, members of the Muhlenberg Network open doors for one another. Wherever your life path takes you, the Muhlenberg Network will follow and always be there, offering a source of encouragement and support. Please remember to support your alma mater in the years ahead. Muhlenberg College will always need your support to help us provide the education and support services you received, and more, to future students. We will continue to strive to make you proud you chose to pursue your undergraduate education at Muhlenberg College. With your ongoing engagement - perhaps as a mentor for students or other alumni, a class agent, a member of a special committee, or in another capacity - as well as your financial support, Muhlenberg will only grow stronger. So, treasure your memories of your college days at Muhlenberg. Muhlenberg will always treasure you, and your support of your classmates and the College. Best regards, John I. Williams, Jr. 6
