Ambrose, president of Pfeiffer University. Dr. Ambrose is completing hisfifthyearat Pfeiffer and is regarded by many as being the driving force inthe resurgencetaking place at Pfeiffer. During his tenure, enrollment(s) has grown on average 10 percent each year. The residential student population has increased by 25 percent over the past four years. Through successful fundraising endeavors. Dr. Ambrose has led the institution in unprecedented renovation and construction efforts. The campus is now enjoying a renovated Knapp Health & FitnessCenter-thefirstofits kind on campus-whereone can exercise and enjoy a latte! Jane Freeman Hall has received a much-needed renovation and provides faculty and students a quality learning and teaching environment. This fall, the campus community dedicated the first newly constructed academic building in over 30 years - the science laboratory facility adjoining Harris Hall. In addition, students competed thisfall to claim space in the newly constructed residence hall, which added 72 private bedrooms - and bathrooms -to the campus' residential living experience. Dr. Ambrose has kept in as being perspective why these efforts are needed. Students are his first priority. Dr. Ambrose rivi continues to make every effort to create a force learning and living environmentthat imparts not only knowledge, but nurtures our souls and ence equips usto be servant leaders.
