It was so nice to see people from all over including USA and New Zealanders as well as all the local faces. Thank you for your enthusiasm and for supporting our club. The Trophy Show Working Party was made up of Bully and Miniature Bully people and the work load for most was enormous. I would like to thank everyone involved from both the bully club and mini club you know who you are, and so do many others, for your hard work and dedication to get this event off the ground with such a great weekend. The ring was outstanding, the atmosphere was fantastic and the venue well suited for what we needed. Huge congratulations to the winners at both shows. Thank you to all the sponsors and the people that donated items to raffle and auction which enables the club to make money which contributes towards bringing out overseas judges and putting on events such as this. Once again thanks to everyone involved and a heartfelt thank you to my committee for their dedication, hard work prior to the show and for all the work behind the scenes including the many headaches getting it to happen. For anyone I have missed out please take this as a thank you for your input with the weekend and for making it so exciting. Alison Sutcliffe Bull Terrier Portrait by Vicky Good 3 Secretary’s Report With the trophy show now behind us, I hope our committee are proud of what they achieved, we pulled off a monumental event! I also hope our guests, spectators and exhibitors enjoyed themselves. I am glad I was a part of it but unfortunately being a part of it means pretty much missing the entire thing! Apart from the time I was in the ring, I didn’t see much else of the judging, and I only know who won the classes because I had to type out the results for the newsletter from the marked catalogue. There are a number of people I would also like to thank personally as without their help, we would not have succeeded. Firstly I’d like to thank my Mum, Robyn Gill for helping me out over the three days. Her help with my baby was invaluable and without it, I couldn’t have done it. So thanks Mum, you are irreplaceable. Big thanks to Steve Ripper for helping out especially on the Sunday BBQ and heavy lifting, and to Adam and his father and my mum for helping out decorating the dining room for the Saturday night dinner. Thanks to Zoya and Evie for the photographing. Thanks to Tony and Lance for spruiking our auctions! Thanks also to Zach for helping with the Promo. Ginna Frith has also asked me to thank Scott Thompson & Carolyn, Julie Hudson, Ahron and Danni, Minn and Penny for their help. Also thank you to PGL and staff, in particular our Groupie “Mel” who went above and beyond the call of duty to attend to every little problem I had. She was sorting out keys in doors, fetched me some trestle tables from over the other side of the lake, ran millions of errands, seriously, she needs a medal. If I’d asked her to bring me a golden cat from the planet Mars I think she could have done it! And thanks also to Jill Weeks at PGL who was our main point of contact pre-show and whose customer service was exemplary and who worked very hard to ensure our weekend was a success. To everyone who helped us pack up, a huge thanks. Sorry if I have missed names, but I truly appreciated every bit of help we got! To the winners, congratulations! See you at the next one!
