I am very grateful to NIFT for giving me an opportunity to put forward my skills and expand my horizon. - Shreya Narayan Preface Design Collection during the course of final semester at NIFT is an incredible opportunity for every student to showcase his/her work, style and talent. It provides us with a platform where we can express ourselves and at the same time polish the skills we’ev acquired in the years we have studied in this institute. For my design collection I wanted to work on ethnic wear in circular knits. Here is an excerpt of the theme this collection is based on. Today when everyone is surrounded by technology science and reasons sometime people needs to loose themselves in world of magical and adventurous stories. The Arabian nights is one such story. My collection is an ode to the tales in the Arabian nights which takes us to the journey of Sindbad the sailor, adventures of Aladdin and magic of Alibaba and 40 thieves…..
