rThee Ansgelident Lighting up CHRISTMAS December 2012 Welcome to The Angel resident T he first ever Christmas I experienced in Angel started with the lights switching on in a very atmospheric Camden Passage, before I had dinner at Frederick’s and then spent a very hazy evening at The Elbow Room down Chapel Market. That was 12 years ago now and, in the true sense of tradition, two out of three are still thriving today (RIP Elbow Room). It’s been a tough couple of years in Angel (and beyond), but the flagships of the area remain a constant – and we recognise a host of those people and places in this most festive of issues.
