Proper names of individuals, institutions, and places are similarly confined to those that receive extended coverage. Names appearing in ‘‘about the author’’ sketches and footnotes are not indexed. Entries for SAA reports and council minutes all appear under the ‘‘Society of American Archi- vists’’ heading.
