The Adoption of DEMO in Practice Author: SamanSattariKhavas Studentid: 1393626 Email: [email protected] Abstract DEMO is a methodology for designing and engineering organizations which is mostlyusedforInformationSystemDevelopment(ISD)andredesigningthebusiness processes. DEMOhastheabilitytoreducethecomplexityofanorganizationbypro- vidingaconceptualmodelofthatorganization[10]. AlthoughDEMOhaspromisingadvantagesandhasprovidedsuccessfuloutcome in practice, it hasn’t received the deserved attention from The individuals in practi- cal fields. While many of the competitor methodologies are more successful and ac- ceptedamongthepractitioners,DEMOisattheriskofbeingforgottenamongallother methodologiesinthemethodologyjungle. ItseemstrivialtouseeffectivetacticstoincreasetheacceptanceofDEMOamong individuals in practice. These tactics can only be effective if they take the reasons behind this specific point of view about DEMO into account.
