Adelaide Triathlon Club 2017 ©- Version 3 | 24 October 2017 2 Welcome to the 2017 Berri Hotel Murray Man® South Australian Long Course Championships This is the 10th year that our triathlon club has run this event and the 7th year for Barmera - hopefully of many more to come! Each year its reputation grows, with competitors treated to a well-organized and almost ‘boutique’ event as competitor numbers have remained relatively small in comparison to other races. The Murray Man® is developing into a triathlon festival, with a half Murray Man and also encompassing a short course triathlon on Saturday for the young or new to triathlon (200m swim/8km bike/2km run). This event is sponsored by Nippy’s, a Riverland institution. We understand that you have trained for many, many hours to be here, and that many of you have made sacrifices. Whether your goal is to qualify for the Worlds or State Championships, to beat last years’ time, or just to finish, we thank you for your effort, and hope that you complete your personal goal. Please read the Competitor Information Booklet very carefully, it contains all the information you need to ensure that you have a safe and well-prepared race come Sunday the 5th November. We wish you happy & safe training. See you in November!
