To The Class of 1992:
Many of you are eagerly awaiting that day in June whs
Davis will present you with your diploma. That day in Jun
mark not an end, but a new beginning for all of you.
Many of you possess the skills that you will need to er
on this new journey, others will need to further refine
skills before they step through the doorway.
Where this journey will take you is unclear, the mei
transportation uncertain. But, what is very clear is that tit
after graduation is very different than the day before:

Don't blame others for the potholes and detours in
journey. The choices to be made are yours. The ct
quences are yours as well.

The last four years have provided you with many opportunities
to plan and prepare for your future. You have dreamed of what
you want to do. Now you are graduating and you will need to
carry out your plans to make your dreams come true.
I belive that each and every one of you can reach that dream
as long as you are willing to make the sacrifices that are
necessary to meet that dream.For those of you who have not
yet found that dream, it is not to late. Make a commitment and
follow your dream.
Remember... All things are possible.

Congratulations to the Class of 1992.1 have gotten to know you in
many different ways over the past few years. You are a very
special group of people and I want to wish you well as you travel
through the journey of life.
There is an old saying that success is the journey and not the
destination. As you receive your high school diploma on grad
uation night, try to remember that this is but one brief stop on
your journey, and reflect for a moment on those people who have
helped you along the way. You have had many memorable
adventures as you traveled the halls of Telstar and you have
learned many valuable lessons.
Some of you will continue your education, others will join the
military or get a job. Whichever road you take, I want to wish you
well. Have a happy and productive life. There will be obstacles in
your way, but you have the ability to overcome these problems if
you use what you have learned the past four years.
"Your potential is Gods gift to you. How you use that potential is
your gift to God." You all have the ability to help a weary traveler,
to make the world a better place, to be what you want to be. You
can accomplish this task in many different ways. I am glad to have
known each of you and challenge you to make that difference!
And to a very special graduate, I want to say, thank you Scott, you
make me proud.

I wish to thank each of you all of the moments,
activities and experience we have shared the past
four years. In looking back, reflect on how you
have participated as a high school student. Mote
how many individuals you have met: new friends,
adults, employers, community members, career
speakers as well as students and staff members
from other high schools. More importantly, realize
how much you have changed and grown — phys
ically, mentally and spiritually. High school, in all
reality, has been very beneficial to you — wait until
you graduate and start that first day on the job, in
the military service or at college. You will then
realize. Best wishes in everything you attempt and
do in the future.
