FIXATION OF TENURE OF SUB-INSPECTORS AND INSPECTORS OF POLICE IN SPECIALIZED
WINGS OF POLICE DEPARTMENT - ADHOC RULE.
[G.O.Ms. No. 133, Home (Legal), 28th December, 2017.]
In exercise of the powers conferred under the provision to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the
Governor of Telangana hereby make the following ad-hoc rule, subject to outcome of the final orders of the
Hon’ble High Court in W.P.No.20089/2016.
ADHOC RULE
Notwithstanding anything contained in the Telangana Police (Civil) Service Rules, 1998 issued in
G.O.Ms.No.137, Home (Pol.E) Department, dated: 01-06-1998, as amended from time to time, and as adapted
in G.O.Ms.No.55, Home (Legal) Department, dated: 12-05-2016, the deputation tenure specified in the proviso,
after item (c), to the rule 6, shall be exempted only for the promotions of Sub-Inspectors and Inspectors for the
panel year 2017-18.
